As a result of a successful evening at The Limelight last September, Zealey & Moore present another evening of original music by local songwriters. If you feel a little lost in the sea of local cover bands pop down for a little island of locally grown songs, in an environment conducive to listening to new material.

    In a change to our scheduled programme MoonDogs will be performing at our next 'Blues Night at the Limelight' on Friday 20th May, in place of Virgil and the Accelerators.

    Formed in London the MoonDogs are at cult status on the live circuit for their relentless, heady brew of blues rock & unique original songs.

    Book Club Update
    Please note the titles for the June & July Book Club sessions have changed.

    On Tue 7 June the group will be discussing The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins.

    This will be followed on Tue 5 July by The Lie Tree by Frances Hardinge.

    May Maker's Fair
    Our big spring event - the May Maker's Fair - takes place on Saturday 14th May.

    We'll have a wide selection of art & craft to view and buy - all created by the tutors and students of Queens Park Arts Centre.

    There'll also be maypole dancing (courtesy of Berryfields School), live music, cream teas, Pimm's, a BBQ, and craft activities for children.

    Join us from 10am on 14th May. Entry is £2 / £1 members & concessions. Under 14s go free!

    Tuesday Pottery
    We have an update to our Tuesday morning pottery workshop.

    Please note that this class will be continuing as an untutored session as of next week.

    Our afternoon and evening pottery groups will be continuing as normal.

    Woodwork Update
    Please note that our 'Learn to Turn & General Woodwork' class - tutored by Rose Miller - will be changing days with immediate effect.

    Instead of Wednesday evenings the class will now take place on Tuesday evenings at the usual time of 7pm (running until 9:30pm).
