Singer, guitar player and songwriter, Debbie Bond has been paying her dues in the Alabama backwoods for over 30 years. Influenced by the famed sounds of Muscle Shoals, and juke joint blues, yet her sound is contemporary and original.

Her impressive musical story includes years of performing with older traditional Alabama blues musicians, including Johnny Shines, Sam Lay, Eddie Kirkland, Willie King Little Jimmy Reed and more. Her immersion in Alabama blues has deeply flavoured her guitar playing, soulful voice and original song writing, incorporating soul, blues, Americana and jazz influences.

Her collaboration with her British born keyboard/harmonica player husband Radiator Rick has added a swampy New Orleans edge to sound to her sound. Debbie is a blues activist and the founder of the award winning Alabama Blues Project dedicated to promoting and preserving the states blues heritage.

“A mouthpiece for sultry, Southern charm and whimsical musical conversation, Debbie Bond gets her heart tangled up in an intimate mess of backwoods Alabama soul.”
    Living Blues Magazine (US)

“Debbie is a truly American original . . . powerful, passionate and as close to "Old-school" production as I have heard in some time. The love and pure passion that Debbie has for the blues and soul styles that came from the Alabama area is evident in every note . . . Between the power of her vocals, her guitar work that is right on the money . . . this is a piece that is nothing short of a modern Masterpiece. I recommend it highly. This woman is the real deal.”

    Rotary Rocks presents...

October 2016. London Town. Underneath the arches of the Garage, Islington, two amazing bands blow the audience away. Holy Moly & The Crackers' cool blend of gorgeous gypsy folk and garage rock sets the scene, before Skinny Lister blow the roof off with their frenetic, upbeat folk, their manic energy, singalong song-writing genius and heart-on-the-sleeve soulfulness.

In the audience, two men sip heartily from the flagon, howl along and punch the air in jubilation. This is what it's all about.

On that bruising night, that cold walk home, the twinkle in the eye and the fire in the soul well and truly ignited, the very next morning Man The Lifeboats were born, their objective to play the same, raucous, upbeat folk music, to drag traditional folk tunes kicking and screaming into the 21st century, to craft songs with big choruses that tell stories. Songs with straight-up lyrics, pounding bass lines, lilting mandolin and fiddle melodies and stomping beats, Man The Lifeboats have cultivated a sound that would not be out of place at a party at the end of the world.

Influences? Well, up there with Skinny Lister and Holy Moly & the Crackers, we have the Pogues, Bellowhead, Tom Waits, Dylan, Springsteen, Kate Bush, Frank Turner, Manu Chao, and of course, Chic.

Throw all that in a cauldron and you end up with a blistering live experience, tales of lost evenings, ballads of doomed love and shanties about whisky-soaked nights, Michael Palin, and the end of the world.

    Tonic for these troubled times.

The Cinelli Brothers are one of the hottest rising blues bands on the UK blues scene and wowing audiences wherever they play.

The band were born out of a passion for the electric Chicago and Texas blues from ’60s and ’70s. Marco Cinelli (guitarist, singer, composer) and his brother Alessandro Cinelli (drummer, singer) decided to form an explosive team showcasing original repertoire in the style of Chess, Stax and Motown.

So after countless shows in Paris, all over France and London, the Cinelli Brothers band was formed, and they recorded their first vinyl record "Babe Please Set Your Alarm" in the Soup Studio in London. This album comprises original compositions as well as covers such as ‘Chain of Fools’, or ‘Back Door Man’ – which stays true to Willie Dixon’s number, as well as Prince’s ‘Kiss’, in a remarkable shuffle rhythm.

The Cinelli Brothers; it's a new generation of passionate musicians of Blues, Soul, Rhythm and Blues and true lovers of the authentic sounds that have made the history of the blues and definitely a band not to miss.

“ Best Guitarist of 2018: Marco Cinelli... One of the very best blues outfits you’ll hear in decades... The Cinelli Brothers: Destined For Blues Stardom...” Music Republic Magazine

A Band Called Malice was formed when frontman Andy Coultas decided to create a new band. A band to recreate the sound of The Jam with the attitude and feel of the original line up. Finding musicians to do this was not an easy task as the people in the band had to be of exceptional standard, able to sing, able to commit, love The Jam, and of course be fit and agile enough to reproduce the live performance of Weller, Foxton and Buckler.

Andy turned to Jo Adams from Their music rocks promotional agency and the search was on. So after a year of auditions and rehearsals, trying different people, some who were good contenders but unable to commit and some others who for one reason or another unsuitable we finally settled on this superb line up we have today. The current band members are spread from around the Midlands so rehearsal time was precious but everyone did their homework and kept any wasted time to a minimum, meeting at Warren's professional rehearsal rooms in Leicester, all the band needed now was to gel and work well together live, but thankfully because all three members were so experienced, the band were up and running in a flash.

Read the biographies of each band member to see the standard of professionalism and then come see the band live to witness a show which will take you back to the late seventies and early eighties when The Jam played as one of the most iconic and influential bands in music history. If you like The Jam then you will love A Band Called Malice and guaranteed to have an unforgettable evening for the right reasons!
