Please click here to add membership to your booking.LEARN TO TURN & GENERAL WOODWORK with Rose MillerEvery Tuesday, 7:00pm – 9.00pmFor ages 16+Ages 12+ may be permitted if accompanied by an adult.Bring in your own materials to work with in this untutored group.New members are always welcome to join this friendly and informal group. Existing ‘wood enthusiasts’ share many years’ experience and a range of talents which are happily shared within the group. Help is always at hand.The group includes experienced wood turners who have sold many of their items at craft shows. A retired woodcraft teacher, who specialises in the use of hand tools and traditional techniques, is also part of the group and happy to assist beginners wishing to learn basic woodcraft.Items made within the group range from furniture and ornaments, to more practical items for around the home.The class is open to all adults including those with additional needs supported by their carers. You will need to provide your own timber and sundries such as screws and glue.This session runs every week during term time. Click here for term dates.
