    What the course is about:
    This course will give you the opportunity to learn more and practice drawing perspective, texture, and light and shade. It will help you to refine your skill and style.
    This is suitable for those with a little drawing experience, particularly those who have completed my 3 week Beginner’s drawing- Part one course. Full tuition and demonstrations will be given.


    What students should bring along:
    Selection of drawing pencils: H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B
    A4 Sketch pad
    Rubber
    Putty rubber
    Pencil sharpener
    Ruler

She has experimented with different mediums over the years, and particularly likes drawing/ painting animals, and using watercolour, acrylic, and printing techniques.     Learn the basic techniques of painting with acrylics.
    This course will give you an introduction to acrylic painting. It is suitable for beginners, those returning to acrylics, or those wanting to try out different techniques with acrylic paint.
    You will be taught, step- by- step, techniques such as colour mixing, washes, and impasto through painting a range of subjects.

    What to bring
    - A selection of acrylic paints
    - Selection of brushes – rounds (small and larger), and flat brushes
    - Palette knife
    - A3 or A4 acrylic paper (such as Daler Rowney Mixed media 250g/m paper)
    - Water pot (old tall plastic tubs work well for this such as soup tubs!)
    - Masking tape
    - Mixing palette – old polystyrene circles from frozen pizza packaging work well!
    - Paper towels
    - Pencil
    - Rubber
    - Ruler
    - Apron or wear old clothing (if you think you need to)

    Create your very own night sky using watercolour paints - ideal for beginners.

    What to bring

    This course will introduce you to beginner drawing techniques- looking at equipment, how to show depth through shading and perspective, and how to draw through identifying shape, form and texture.

    This workshop is aimed at beginners to drawing, and art in general, and those looking to improve their drawing skill. Adults (age 13 years +)

    Students should bring a selection of pencils (H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B), an A4 sketch pad, a rubber, a pencil charpener and a ruler.

    with Leila Ward

    Come and use linocut to create a lovely two-colour peony print. You will be able to take away your linocut stamp to print more images at home. Suitable for beginners and those with more experience.

    Materials provided, however please bring along any linocut tools, printing ink, or specific paper if you have any.
    Please wear old clothing or bring an apron if you think you may need to.

    Please note that you would need to bring £5 towards materials - to be paid on the day to the tutor.
