    To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the first landing on the Moon, Aylesbury Town Council are delighted to bring you a unique event for 2019.

    The team from UKAstronomy, alongside a representative from NASA, will educate you about the Moon and all things Space. There will be talks, games, crafts, activities and a host of very special items from space. So if you’ve ever looked at the moon and stars and wondered what it’s like “up there” come along and find out.

    Queens Park will be providing a special lunar-themed make-and-take craft activity on the day.

    The Unbound Sketchbook are headed to the barnfield Theatre for this year's Exeter Fringe Festival with a plethora of pages from their mighty book of comedy sketches.

    Have you ever wondered what might happen if a self-service checkout developed a conscience? Or Fancied finding out who’d win a ‘Battle of the Accents’ between a farmer and a pirate? Well. Here’s your chance…

    The Unbound Sketchbook have amassed a formidable catalogue of comedy sketches over the last three years, and now they’re out on the road with the very best rib-tickling skits from their repertoire in a fast-paced all-original show fronted by a top-notch team.

    Gareth Johnson, Kati Fogg, Alistair Sanderson, Hannah Rogers and Pete Benson will perform a 60-minute set, drawing together some of the best-loved material from the Sketchbook’s pages written by Gareth, Pete, Brian Murray and Dario Knight.

    A fantastically funny night out with a wide variety of comedy ranging from superbly silly visuals to witty wordplay and even a dash of mirthful music, The Unbound Sketchbook is a must-see for fans of smart comedy that isn't afraid to be silly when it wants to be.

    Aylesbury Town Council's spectacular live music festival returns for 2019.

    The plans for this event and well under way, with an exciting line up of talented local bands who’ll perform for nine-and-a-half hours across two stages, the very popular Community Involvement Area and fun fair rides all for free. With bars, catering and market stalls available too.

    Queens Park Arts Centre will be running a special recycling-themed community art project on the day - more details to be announced soon!

    Meet the monarchs who defined our history, learn some truly barmy facts about their reigns and cheer on our talented team of actors as they present over 100 years of history in a fast-paced thirty-minute show.

    Our hugely-popular Art & Craft Fair returns for its sixteenth consecutive year.

    We'll have a wide selection of the region's best art and craft to view and buy, including jewellery, glass, textiles, cards, paintings and ceramics – perfect for Christmas presents!

    There'll be craft activities for children running throughout the day, and there'll be a chance for young visitors to pay a visit to Santa's Grotto too!

    Homemade cakes will be on sale in the Coffee Bar, plus we'll have a BBQ, soft drinks, tea and fresh coffee - and the Limelight Bar will be open during the afternoon serving beer, wines and spirits.

    Free parking is available both on site and at our nearby overflow car park.

    Entry: £2.00 / £1.00 concessions & members (U14s go free)
    All proceeds contribute to the Centre’s fundraising campaign.
    There will be a small charge for the craft activities and a chance to meet Father Christmas!
