Auditions & Casting Opportunities

Unbound is committed to providing opportunities for actors from our local community.

Given the diverse range of productions taking place throughout the year, we have several different casting processes. Open auditions are typically held for our in-house theatrical productions (including dramatic plays and pantomimes), whilst casting calls are sent out for smaller projects such as rehearsed readings.

Shows which come under our Touring Theatre arm (including our comedy team, The Unbound Sketchbook) are typically cast by invitation to ensure the highest calibre cast possible to represent both Unbound and Queens Park Arts Centre when visiting other venues. However, Unbound is structured so that new actors joining the company have a chance to be involved in in-house projects and develop their skills in order to then join the Touring company.

Unbound is committed to maintaining a professional standard when casting and staging its productions and to cast the right actor for the right role. We're always delighted to meet and work with new people, and anyone with an enthusiasm for theatre and storytelling is welcome to try out for a part.

See below for our latest opportunities, and check back when you can as we announce new auditions and productions regularly.
